Ivy Tech Community College is pleased to provide you with an additional benefit to supplement your retirement income.  Our 457(b) Deferred Compensation plan is a retirement plan available for employees to set aside money for retirement and reduce your taxable compensation.  This plan can be a good option if you contribute the maximum to the 403(b) Defined Contribution plan or have other retirement plans but still want to save more. Additionally, the interest you earn on the money in your account grows without being taxed.  All employees are immediately eligible to make pre-tax contributions to this plan.  Your contributions are directed to Transamerica Retirement Solutions.


Contributions made to this plan are financed solely by the employee and are immediately 100% vested.  You may increase or decrease your contribution at any time.  Your change will be effective the first day of the month following election.
