The College offers comprehensive Vision Care Insurance through VSP Vision Care.  This benefit plan gives members  great savings on prescription glasses and contacts, with an extensive network of providers to choose from in the VSP Choice Plan.  Members receive personalized care focused on eye health and overall wellness.


If you are an adjunct faculty member or part-time employee, you are eligible to enroll for Vision Care Insurance.  You may also enroll your eligible dependents for coverage.  All eligible employees can enroll for employee, employee plus spouse, employee plus child(ren), or family coverage within 31 days of date of hire, qualifying event or during the annual open enrollment period.  Coverage is effective the first of the month following date of hire.

Non-disabled dependent children are eligible for coverage to the end of the month in which the child turns 26.


Premiums for vision care insurance are direct billed to the employee.  The entire premium is paid by the employee.
